MusicPin begins its Digs & Gigs weekly columns with the hottest event this week – Brighton’s Great Escape Festival, Europe’s answer to the legendary South By South West Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.
This year, the festival will be a 3-day event featuring major performances by over 300 artists, various panels by the music industry heavyweights, showcases by Levi’s Ones To Watch Program along with lots of partying and sunbathing. MusicPin will be offering digital solutions for the event and have creatively put together a compilation The Great Escape 2009 through customized download cards, which can be used as custom key-holders for attendees and delegates.
The compilation includes 12 special bands to look out for this year:
