DIY Dubstep Coming Out of the Darkness!
On 4th April 2011, live dubstep act CODA release their long awaited debut E.P exclusively from the band’s website ABSOLUTELY FREE! Since the beginning of 2010, & the start of the Coda formation, this 5 piece live outfit from London have been pouring in long hour sessions in the studio to produce a product that marks their first chapter & launch into the music industry plus the UK’s thriving dubstep scene.
Debut E.P The Breach includes four original, sub-focused tracks including the moody ‘Pablo’, the ominous ‘Taiko’, crowd pleaser ‘Blood Pressure’ and the jittery ‘Get Up’. Sample, effects and producer Noj explains a little bit about the story of The Breach and what to expect from the debut release: “We started putting together tracks around mid 2010, however we are all perfectionists, and this is why it has taken this long for us to release it. The tracks themselves vary between deep, moody bass scores to the in your face, tear out stuff.”
Stacey (Guitarist/MC) explains the value of this release: “I’m really proud of all the hard work everyone put in to The Breach, I really think it represents our sound well, plus it’s a great tool for promoting Coda live because whatever you hear from us, we pull off as a full live band! It’s all about the live show!”
